Falcon Pro has run as a series since 2008 and has evolved as a competitive, low cost series ever since. The series also produced what is now called “BSCRA Formula 2” which came about from the Falcon Pro F1 class. The series has always taken on board suggestions from the involved racers as to how the series should progress and has largely evolved from the racers wishes.

Due to rather major changes in lifestyle, occupation and circumstances over the last 18 months Andy Brown-Searle who has run the series from the start has now taken a step back in terms of the admin of the new series and handed the responsibility to a new team, namely  Paul Harwood, Ian Howard and Ant Hawkes, with Andy still web hosting via Darkside Racing and competing in events when possible. The series will still maintain the 6 race structure, ensuring that racers have time to do other stuff as well and the the series does not dominate the yearly race calendar.

Additionally due to the motor situation it was felt that the series should be renamed and also refreshed in format, while maintaining the ethics of “Low Cost Competitive Racing” and vastly simplified rules. The racers in the 2016 series have proved most helpful in regard to reviewing how things should change and so now we have a great series going forward which is not only guarantees low cost, fun and ultra competitive racing but also a more accessible management structure.

Venues have already been set for the 2016 series, however other clubs are invited to register their interest in running races in the 2017 series providing they can meet the criteria.

We are also delighted to announce that Richardsons are sponsoring the year end prizes for the new 2016 series. Please find below a initial summation of the new series which will be called the Pro-Am Cup.  This series is about Low Cost, Fun, Competitive, accessible, racing for all levels of racers and we are sure the series will attract an eve larger number of racers in this new and exiting format.
